Source: Russia's MC-21 price estimated at 3 bln rbl
MOSCOW, Apr 25 (PRIME) -- Russia's new passenger jet MC-21 will cost 3 billion rubles, a government source told PRIME on Tuesday.
"The price of the new MC-21 will stand at about 3 billion rubles, a peer Boeing costs 5–6 billion rubles," the source said.
According to CEO of state industrial corporation Rostec Sergei Chemezov, purchases of the jets by national airlines will be state-subsidized.
"The price of a new MC-21 will be significantly below the market for Aeroflot and other carriers," he said.
